Dymock Half Marathon and 5 Mile Race
The event takes place on 24 May 2026 at Dymock Cricket Club, GL18 2AD. It comprises two road races that run through rural countryside near the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire borders.
- Half Marathon: road race, hilly and undulating through quiet lanes.
- 5 Mile race: road race sharing the first two miles then looping back to Dymock.
Both routes hold full UK Athletics race licences. Courses are fully marked and marshalled and include several water stations along the way. All finishers receive a medal and half marathon finishers receive a T shirt. Prizes include top three individual awards for men and women, team prizes for men and women, and age category awards in FV35, FV45, FV55, MV40, MV50 and MV60. There are local prizes for runners from Newent GL18 or Ledbury HR8 postcodes and a prize for the first finisher from a local cricket club.
Entry is subject to limits of 200 runners per race. Minimum entry ages are 18 for the half marathon and 16 for the 5 mile race. Earlybird and regular entry fees apply, with an additional fee for unattached entries. Race headquarters provide parking including a field behind the club, additional parking opposite the Beauchamp Arms, disabled parking, toilets, changing facilities and post race refreshments.
