Crocodile 8 - Hereford
The Crocodile 8 is scheduled for 30 May 2027 around the villages of Tillington and Burghill near Hereford. The route is approximately 8.8 miles and runs on a mix of trails, tarmac and woodland paths. The course includes steep climbs and sharp descents and features live music at points along the route.
Race headquarters are at Burghill Community Academy, which will provide number pick-up, toilets, bag storage, refreshments, kids races and an after-event party/bar. There are no changing facilities at the headquarters and there is no parking at the academy; free parking is available nearby, around a 10-minute walk, with signage and officials to guide arrivals. Organisers advise car sharing where practical.
Entry fees are listed as £20.00 for affiliated runners and £22.00 for non-affiliated runners. Entries close on 28 May and there will be no entries on the day. Total places are limited to 300. The event is run under TRA licence and UK Athletics rules. Chip timing is provided by Ready Set Go and a finisher medal is awarded to all who complete the course. Runners must be 17 years or older on the day. This is a cupless event, so participants should bring a cup for the water station. No refunds or deferrals will be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
