Eastern States 20 Miler & Half Marathon
The event on Saturday, March 27, 2027 offers two road race options along the New England seacoast.

- Half Marathon
The 20 Miler runs from Kittery, Maine to Hampton, New Hampshire along Route 1A and finishes at Hampton Beach State Park. The Half Marathon runs from Rye, New Hampshire to the same finish at Hampton Beach. Both courses are described as flat and organized along the oceanfront.
Course time limits are 4.5 hours for the 20 Miler and 3.5 hours for the Half Marathon. Mile markers count down on course; the 20 Miler uses markers from 19 to 1 and those markers correspond with the last 13 miles of the half marathon. Aid stations are placed approximately every 2.5 to 3 miles: seven on the 20 Miler and five on the half. All aid stations provide water, Gatorade, and portable toilets. GU Energy products are available at specified midcourse aid stations.
Participant parking is located at Hampton Beach State Park. Shuttle buses transport participants from parking to each start venue; shuttles are for participants only and there are no post race shuttles back to the starts. There is no dedicated parking at the start lines, though runner drop off is permitted. Gear check is available at both starts with pickup at the finish.
Early bib pickup is available the day before the race at the Millennium Running retail store. Shirts are limited to the first 1,400 combined in-person and virtual participants. Strollers are not permitted.
Finishers receive medals. Age-group awards are given to the top three men and women by net time in five year groups, and overall winners are recognized by gun time. Post race refreshments include water, Gatorade, yogurt, bananas, snacks, and hot soup. Free digital race photos are posted online a few business days after the event. Virtual participation is accepted through Monday, March 29, 2027 and virtual finishers earn miles toward the Elliot Millennium Series Jacket though no Points Chase points are awarded.
