Easter Community Fun Run - Chelmsford
Chelmsford Garden Community Council will host the Easter Community Fun Run on 12 April 2026 at New Hall School in Boreham, England. The event is organised in collaboration with New Hall School and is presented as a community fun run rather than a timed race.
The course is a single lap, flat and traffic free, measuring around 3.6 kilometres. The surface is a mix of tarmac paths, trail paths and grass, and some sections may collect mud, leaves and puddles after rain; participants are advised to use appropriate footwear. The start and finish are within the grounds of New Hall School.
Participation is free; the organiser encourages donations to Essex Dementia Care and requests cash for donations on the day. No children under 11 may take part. Young people aged 11 to 18 may participate only when accompanied by an adult, as the council will not supervise young people. Runners may not bring dogs, while spectators may bring dogs provided they are on a lead. There is limited parking within the school grounds via the north entrance from Remembrance Avenue and New Hall Way, and the organiser encourages walking or cycling as sustainable travel options. The event is limited to 400 spaces. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
