East Coast Triathlon Festival (ECTF)
The East Coast Triathlon Festival is scheduled for May 3, 2026 in Innsbrook, Glen Allen, Virginia. The event comprises nine separate races for youth and adults and includes triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, and a two person mixed relay. Events are open to ages 5 and up with specific categories for youth and junior athletes.
The festival includes draft legal races for juniors and age group athletes and serves as one of five qualifiers for the USAT Youth and Junior National Championships. Non draft events use a shallow man made lake for the swim, a flat bike course closed to vehicle traffic, and a fast out and back run. The venue describes a flat loop course with hay bales on every corner for added safety.
The event is presented by Live Red Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds free fitness programs teaching eight core life skills to youth in Richmond neighborhoods with low opportunity.

- Non draft youth 5 to 12 options: 100m swim, 5k bike, 0.5mi run
- Non draft ages 13 and up options: 375m swim, 10k bike, 2.5k run
- Draft legal age group options: 375m swim, 10k bike, 2.5k run
- Two person mixed relay each teammate: 200m swim, 5k bike, 1k run
