East Bay Front Runners Pride Run and Walk
East Bay Front Runners and Walkers presents the 22nd Annual Pride Run and Walk with both in-person and virtual options. The in-person events take place at Lake Merritt in Oakland, with the race start and finish at the Adams Point picnic area adjacent to the Lake Merritt Sailboat House, 568 Bellevue Ave., Lakeside Park.
Available distances:
- 5K - one loop around Lake Merritt.
- 10K - two loops around Lake Merritt.
The virtual event lets participants complete the same distances anywhere between October 10 and October 18, 2026. Virtual entrants receive a PDF bib, finisher certificate, and finisher ribbon, and are asked to submit results by October 21, 2026. In-person participants receive a pair of rainbow-tipped Pride socks, a finisher ribbon, and discounts at Sports Basement and Road ID; top finishers receive medals. Registration fees apply and registrations are non-refundable.
Proceeds benefit Running for a Better Oakland, Fishnets and Film, the Pacific Center for Human Growth, and East Bay Front Runners and Walkers.
