10K on the Bay
Presented by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, 10K on the Bay returns to the Hayward Shoreline. The event brings community road races to the shoreline near Hayward.
The event offers multiple distances:
- One Mile Family Fun Run
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
All races start and finish at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center. The course runs near the bay and features bay views and cool coastal air.
The first 300 participants receive a commemorative medal and T shirt. The event also supports the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center’s education and conservation programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
