10K On The Bay
The 10K on the Bay takes place on September 27, 2026, and is presented by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. Races are held at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center, 4901 Breakwater Avenue, Hayward, CA 94545. All races start and finish at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center, with bay views and cool coastal air.
Distances include:
- One-Mile Family Fun Run (1 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles) Run or Walk
- 10K (6.2 Miles) Run
The one-mile and 5K events allow running or walking; the 10K is a running-only event. Registration opens July 28, 2026 and closes September 27, 2026. Registration fees are $25 for the one-mile event, $40 for the 5K, and $50 for the 10K. Every participant receives a commemorative t-shirt. Registrations received after September 10, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt. Event proceeds support the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center's education and conservation programs.
