Easley Lions Club Glenn Farrow Firecracker Frolic 5K
The Easley FireCracker Frolic 5K is a community running event presented by the Easley Lions Club. The 34th edition uses downtown Easley streets and both starts and finishes at Old Market Square, following the same course as previous years. The course is not closed to traffic; intersections will be monitored by police and Lions Club volunteers and participants may encounter vehicles on the road. The event proceeds in rain but will be delayed if there is lightning.
Registration opens March 17, 2026 and remains open until race day; the registration fee listed is $25.00. Early packet pickup is scheduled at Academy Sports in Easley on the evening before the race. Race day registration will be available beside the start line. Registrants who register by June 21, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt while supplies last.
Awards include age group prizes across multiple brackets from 0-14 up through 75 and older, and cash prizes for first, second, and third overall female and male finishers. Proceeds support a range of local and regional charities and services including Lions vision programs, camps and services for people with visual impairments, medical assistance organizations, and community assistance programs in the Easley and Pickens County area.
