Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk : event overview
The Red White & Brew 5k Run/Walk takes place on June 27, 2026, at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, SC (1000 Via Corso Ave, Simpsonville, SC 29681). The event supports the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. The distance is 5K. The course starts at the Bridgeway Station entrance, crosses the Bridgeway Station Bridge, and includes sections through Holland Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The course is described as flat and fast and will use chip timing with live results. Packet pickup begins one hour before the race at Bridgeway Station.
Inclusions, awards and registration policies
Registration prices listed include $35 and $19, with a youth rate of $15 for ages 1–17; the price increases after March 15, 2026. Included with registration are a finisher medal, custom race bib, event-themed giveaways, a race sticker, and complimentary race photos. The event offers music and a post-race party and lists a DJ appearance. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals for first through third in each division. Age group categories span 0–9, 10–12, 13–16, 17–19, 20–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–79, and 80+. Transfer and distance-change options are allowed. Club members receive 15% off and referring two or more runners qualifies for a $5 refund. Race shirts are sold separately. No refunds or deferrals are offered except in the event of a sellout, in which case a future-event discount code may be requested.
