Red White & Brew 5K Run/Walk
The Red White & Brew 5K Run/Walk takes place on July 2, 2027 at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina, at 1000 Via Corso Ave. The event is organized by Upstate Race Series and is part of the Upstate Giving Series.
The single race distance is 5K. The course is all paved, described as flat and fast. The route starts at the Bridgeway Station entrance, crosses the Bridgeway Station Bridge, then continues through Holland Park, along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and around the main parking lot. Directional arrows mark turns and off‑duty police officers staff the three main intersections. A 60 minute course time limit is enforced so roads can be reopened.
Amenities at the finish include water, a complimentary beer from Bridgeway Brewing Company, non‑alcoholic options, and food from The City Market vendors. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a red‑white‑and‑blue race bib. Timing is electronic with live results and complimentary professional photos are provided after the event.
Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and 1st to 3rd place age group awards across 15 categories covering ages 0–9 through 80+. Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes March 20, 2027; the listed registration fee is $24. Packet pickup must be done in person and there is no gear check. Ample free parking and restrooms inside Bridgeway Station are available. Dogs are permitted and headphones are allowed with caution at road crossings.
