Red White & Brew 5K Run/Walk
This event takes place on July 2, 2027 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Ave, Simpsonville, SC 29681. It is part of the Upstate Race Series and the Upstate Brew Series. The distance is 5K on an evening summer course.
The course is all paved and described as flat. It begins at the Bridgeway Station entrance, crosses the Bridgeway Station Bridge, runs through Holland Park and along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and continues around the main parking lot. Directional arrows mark every turn and off-duty officers man the three main intersections. There is a firm 60 minute time limit so roads can be reopened.
Amenities include water at the finish line, one free beer from Bridgeway Brewing Company plus non-alcoholic options, and food vendors at the City Market area. Bathrooms are available inside Bridgeway Station. Parking at Bridgeway Station is ample and free.
Race services include chip timing with live results, a custom race bib, a race-branded finisher medal, event giveaways, and complimentary professional race photos posted after the event. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in each of 15 age groups. This race supports Greenville County Animal Care as part of the Upstate Giving Series.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes March 20, 2027. The listed registration fee is $24. Packet pickup is available race day at Bridgeway Station and closes shortly before the start; no proxy pickups. Transfers and other registration changes are managed through the RunSignUp profile. No refunds or deferrals are offered. Dogs are allowed on course and headphones are permitted; there is no gear check but participants can leave items in their vehicles within sight of the start and finish.
