The Donegal Town Eamon Harvey 10K is a road race organised by Tirchonaill Athletic Club in Donegal Town, running alongside a 5 km family walk. Distances offered include:

The 10 km route starts with a 3 km loop through historic Donegal Town, passing The Quay, The Diamond, Donegal Castle, The Courthouse and St. Patrick’s Church, and crosses the River Eske twice. From kilometre 3 to kilometre 7 the route follows the N15 toward Tullyearl before turning onto a road with views of Donegal Bay that continues to the finish.
The 10 km race is AAI measured and chip timed. Entries for the 10 km include an optional customised T-shirt and a customised medal for registrants; 5 km walkers are entered into a draw for spot prizes. Prize categories cover overall places and masters age groups, and the first finisher receives the Eamon Harvey Perpetual Cup.
The event supports the Solace Cancer Support Centre in Donegal Town, with funds raised donated to the centre. Race day facilities include toilets and changing rooms at the Abbey Vocational School Gym and portaloos near the start.
