About the race
Eagle Ridge is a trail race event at Guntersville State Park in Guntersville, Alabama. The event offers multiple distances on single track trails within a 6,000+ acre park that contains more than 30 miles of single track.
Distances
- 50K, 2.5 loop trail race, 8 hour cutoff
- Half Marathon, trail distance, no cutoff
- 5K, trail distance, no cutoff
The 50K has a course cutoff of 8 hours (15:28 per mile); runners who do not complete the final loop in that time will be removed from the event. The course is described as spectator friendly with several park access roads and bluff views overlooking lake and mountain scenery. Aid stations are provided on course with water, Gatorade, coke and items such as GU, pretzels, M&Ms and granola bars; specific mile marks for aid stations are listed for each distance.
All RunningLane Events trail races are cupless events. Participants must carry a hand bottle, pack or reusable cup; a reusable cup is available for purchase at checkout for $5.
The field is capped at 350 runners. Entry prices listed range from USD 47.50 to USD 96.00.
