Race to the Cave Half Marathon, 10K & 5K
Race to the Cave is a two-day running event at Cathedral Caverns State Park in Woodville, Alabama (637 Cave Rd, 35776), held February 27–28, 2027.

The course begins on valley roads and concludes with a 1.2 mile finish through Cathedral Caverns. Long sleeve technical shirts are provided to participants in the 10K and Half Marathon on Sunday, and t-shirts are provided to 5K participants on Saturday. Entries that include a CHALLENGE receive both a long sleeve tech shirt and a t-shirt, and receive separate finisher medals for each day.
Registration is listed as opening on September 22, 2026 and closing on October 31, 2026. Listed entry fees are $75 for the Half Marathon, $55 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, $100 for the Half Marathon plus 5K challenge, and $85 for the 10K plus 5K challenge.
