Eagle and Child - Perth Trail Series
Eagle and Child is a trail running event held on Sunday 19 July 2026 at Red Hill Auditorium in Red Hill, WA. The event offers multiple marked courses through nearby natural areas and operates a start/finish village at the venue with music provided by a DJ.
Distances and approximate elevation change:
- Green course: 5.5 km, +/- 110 m ascent
- Blue course: 13.3 km, +/- 350 m ascent
- Black course: 20.6 km, +/- 500 m ascent
Course categories describe expected effort and experience. The Green course is described as walk or run on remote trail. The Blue course is aimed at participants who can run most of the distance. The Black course is for experienced trail runners and longer distances. Participants may drop down to a shorter distance on the day by notifying event staff.
Event logistics include course markings, an event brief emailed the Wednesday prior to the event, and bib pickup on race day at the start/finish. A finish village includes food trucks and space for friends and family to wait and cheer. Registration remains open until the Tuesday before the event unless the event sells out earlier.

- Green: minimum age 6; under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Blue: minimum age 12; requires three completed Green events and parental accompaniment for first Blue.
- Black: minimum age 16; requires three completed Blue events and parental accompaniment for first Black.
