Dyfi Aquathlon
The Dyfi Aquathlon is described as the longest aquathlon in the world. The event pairs a long open-water swim with a trail run back to Aberdyfi along the Wales Coast Path. Organisers provide drop-bag transfer to the end of the swim and will return swimmers' swim kit to the finish.

Entry pricing is tiered: early bird entry at £95 for the first 30 places, standard entry at £105, late entry at £115 from 08 August, and a relay entry at £120. Entries close on Monday 24 August. Live GPS tracking technology is used so spectators can follow athletes and see live results.
A pre-requisite for the swim requires athletes to sustain a minimum open-water speed of 3 km/h for at least 2 hours 30 minutes. The organiser notes the swim is significantly harder than the Hurly Burly event; the first 10 km is similar while the final 3 km is the crux. There is no cut-off time on the run.
The event is based at Aberdyfi and uses nearby facilities around the Dovey Yacht Club. Accommodation options range from hotels within a short walk of registration to local campsites a few kilometres from the village. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
