Dusk to Dawn - Bridgend
Dusk to Dawn is a 12-hour trail event organised by Mad Running Junkies at Bridgend Miniature Railway (Fountain Road, Aberkenfig, Tondu, Bridgend, CF32 9BZ). Participants attempt to complete as many 10 mile loops as they can within a 12-hour period, starting at dusk and finishing at dawn.
The course layout uses multiple looped routes. Each loop returns to a staffed Base Camp where runners can rest before heading out again.

Routes are fully marked with flags and glow sticks. Base Camp provides hot drinks and snacks, medical support, a medal or trophy and a swag bag. Volunteers staff the event and provide assistance at Base Camp and on the course.
The terrain includes climbs, flowing and sometimes technical forestry trails, and minimal road sections. The course design includes route changes and technical sections that require careful footing.
The event is open to runners aged 18 or older. Places are limited to 30 runners. Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 16 July 2026. Entry fees listed are: Entry only £55.00 and Entry & T shirt £80.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
