Event overview
The Dusk-to-Dawn 6/12 is a time-based ultra held on a riverside loop near Glenelg. The course runs alongside a sand beach and harbour, with palm trees and views over the river. The event is offered in conjunction with the Reindeer Run and is AURA-listed, AIMS-certified, and IAU labelled. Participants are turned around every 3 hours.

Course and logistics
The course is an exact AIMS-certified loop of 2.56464 km, passed on every lap. There is one aid station at the start/finish of the loop, passed every 2.56464 km, providing water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, first aid, ice, zooper doopers, and food; a full food list will be published closer to the event. Course direction rotates every 3 hours. Bib collection is available only on the day, beginning a half hour before the event, and the race briefing occurs shortly before the start. An English-as-a-Second-Language simplified briefing is offered with slower speech and simpler wording. All finishers receive a complimentary finisher medal and memento; personalised inscriptions are available for an extra cost. The organiser donates $5 from each registration to Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Services. Refund, transfer, and bad-weather policies, including optional protection products, apply.
