Event Information
Dusk to Dawn 6/12 is a dusk-to-dawn time-based ultramarathon event. The event takes place on a looped, certified course. The race is IAU labelled and AURA listed.
The course is a single 2.564 km loop along a riverside. The course offers views of the river and a nearby harbor and passes a sand beach with palm trees. It is situated a few hundred meters from Glenelg and is accessible by public transport. The direction of the loop rotates every three hours.
One aid station is located at the start/finish area of the loop. It provides water, sports drink, soft drink, snacks, lollies, and first aid. Ice, food, and other items will also be available, with a food list published closer to the event date.
Bib collection is available on the day, starting a half hour before the event begins. A standard race briefing starts 15 minutes before the event start. An additional simplified English language race briefing for non-native speakers or those preferring a quieter setting is offered at a different time.
All participants receive a finisher medal. Personalization of the medal with a name, message, or distance is available for an extra cost.
A portion of each registration fee supports Women’s Safety Services SA and the Northern Adelaide Domestic Violence Service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
