Durham City Run Festival
The Durham City Run Festival stages evening road races through Durham's historic streets and a family team relay at Durham Racecourse. The city races run along narrow cobbled streets and beside the River Wear and finish at Palace Green close to the 900 year old Cathedral.
Race services and participant benefits listed for finishers include a medal and goody bag, secure baggage drop, electronic chip timing, post race massage, and prizes for the top three male and female finishers as well as first finishers in the V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories. A small entry discount for UK Athletics club members is applied at checkout.
The festival includes multiple event formats:

- Families on Track team relay, teams of 3 to 5 members
Families on Track is a team relay held at Durham Racecourse. Team rules published for this event note a team cost and require a minimum of three members and a maximum of five, at least one team member over 18 and at least one under 16, and that the team captain must be over 18.
