Durham City Run Festival
The Durham City Run Festival stages evening races through Durham city centre and along the River Wear. The event uses the city"s historic streets and narrow cobbled lanes and finishes at Palace Green by the 900 year old cathedral. The festival includes a family relay at Durham Racecourse.
Race services include a medal and goody bag for finishers, secure baggage drop, electronic chip timing, post race massage and prizes for the top three men and women plus first V40, V50, V60 and V70 finishers.
Distances and entry details
- 10K entry fee £28.50. Minimum age 15.
- 5K entry fee £17.50. Minimum age 12.
- Families on Track team fee £45. Teams must have 3 to 5 members. Each team must have at least one member over 18 and at least one member under 16. Minimum age to take part is 4.
