Durham City Run Festival
The Durham City Run Festival is a midsummer running event in Durham, County Durham. The festival includes evening road races of 5K and 10K and a separate Families on Track team relay held at Durham Racecourse on Saturday. The main city races run through narrow cobbled streets and along the River Wear, with the course finishing on Palace Green near the city cathedral and World Heritage Site.

The 10K has a minimum age of 15 and the 5K has a minimum age of 12. Entry fees shown are £25.50-£27.50 for the 10K and £16.50 for the 5K. Families on Track costs £45 per team. Teams must contain 3 to 5 members, with at least one team member and the team captain over 18, and at least one team member under 16. The minimum age to take part in Families on Track is 4 years old.
All finishers receive a medal and a goody bag. The event provides secure baggage drop, electronic chip timing and post-race massage. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers and to the first competitors in the V40, V50, V60 and V70 categories. The event address is listed as Radisson Blu Hotel Durham.
