Duo Dash 5k
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida presents the Duo Dash 5k, a community running event held at Viera Regional Park Rotary Pavilion in Melbourne, FL. The event offers two entry formats: an individual 5 km and a duo 5 km team entry. Proceeds support one-to-one mentoring programs for youth in Brevard County.
Race amenities include race T-shirts (shirts guaranteed for the first 100 registrants or a $5 no-shirt discount), a pre-race warm up, a post-race breakfast, and finisher medals. Packet pickup and in-person registration are scheduled the day before at Running Zone (3696 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL) and on the event day at Viera Regional Park Rotary Pavilion (2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Melbourne, FL).
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, top masters men and women age 40 and over, and top men and women in the following age groups: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Fee structure as listed for registration periods:
Adults: $25 through 10/15, $30 from 10/16 through 1/29, $35 on race day.
Children: $20 through 10/15, $25 from 10/16 through 1/29, $30 on race day.
