Dunecht Dash 2026
The Dunecht Dash takes place on 13 June 2026 at Dunecht House, Dunecht. The event comprises two accurately measured and timed races set predominantly within the estate grounds on mainly private tarmac roads. All races start and finish at Dunecht House.
Distances:
- 2 km open to everyone.
- 5 km open to participants aged 7 and above with experience of the distance.
Registration is held on the event day and race numbers are issued at registration; entrants are asked to write an emergency contact on the reverse of their number. Online entries close on 7 June 2026 and each race has limited numbers because of available car parking. Entries are not available on the day and are not transferable. Refunds may be made for withdrawals notified by email at least four weeks before the event, subject to administrative fees.
Routes will be clearly marked, signposted and marshalled. The 5 km uses a short section of quiet public road; participants are expected to follow marshal instructions. Dogs must be kept on short leads within the estate.
On-site facilities include toilets, a water station provided by AquAid Aberdeen with a request to bring a reusable container, waste and recycling stations, and catering for hot and cold snacks. All competitors receive a participation medal made from sustainable materials and an awards ceremony is held shortly after the 5 km race.
