Druridge Bay Beach Trail Runs
Druridge Bay on the Northumberland coast is the venue for the sixth year of these beach trail runs. The event starts at Druridge Bay Country Park and uses a mix of paths, inland trails and the beach itself.
The course is described as generally flat and offers coastal views. Routes include both shorter and longer distances, with a newly introduced 5 km route aimed at those new to trail running. The event allows one controlled dog per runner for canicross entries.
Event services include live chip timing provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise and a snack and drink. An event T shirt is available to purchase for £14 when signing up. Participants should pay for parking at the site either at the machines or via the PayByPhone app.
