Druridge Bay 5K & 10K Trail Runs
The event takes place at Druridge Bay Country Park on the Northumbrian coastline, with routes that use paths, trails and sections of beach. The races are offered over these distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Minimum ages on the day are 15 years for the 5 km and 16 years for the 10 km. The 10 km is run in partnership with VO2Max Racing Events and Hospice Care North Northumberland.
Course services and event features include a fully marked course, an aid station, marshals on the route, live chip timing with live online results, event photography, finish line merchandise, finishers' medals and a team of event staff. Route files, a briefing pack and event information are provided for entrants.
The event is Canicross friendly; one controlled dog is allowed per runner. Registration opens November 2026. Hospice Care North Northumberland provides free specialist support for adults (18+) and families across North Northumberland, including hospice at home palliative care, dedicated dementia care and support, and family and bereavement services.
