Drummer Hill Trail Race
The Drummer Hill Trail Race is a trail event organized by Scores Running Club in Keene, New Hampshire. The course uses a new 12.5 km loop and runners may choose how many laps to complete; completing four laps equals a 50 km day. Male and female awards are given for first place in each distance, and a raffle is likely.
The terrain ranges from technical single track to old jeep roads and includes notable elevation change. The route passes through woods with rocks, roots, fallen trees, stream crossings, and scenic areas where wildlife may be seen.
Practical race logistics include on-site drop bags available at the start/finish area and port-a-potties at the same location. Parking is provided at Fuller Elementary School, 422 Elm St, Keene, NH, with the race start a short walk away on Drummer Rd; parking on Drummer Rd is not allowed.
Aid is available at the start/finish area and at a midpoint on the loop. Typical aid offerings include water, Tailwind, soda, gels, cookies, bananas, chips, candy, and pulled pork; participants may bring items to share.
The event supports the Scores Running Club youth scholarship fund for local high school athletes from Keene, Monadnock, and Hinsdale. The organizer has announced a 2027 date and a registration opening on Black Friday for that year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
