Dragon Dash 5K
The Annual Dragon Dash is a certified 5K running event that begins and ends at the Wildwood Amphitheater in Lake Orion. The course is an out and back that follows the Polly Ann Trail north to the Lake Orion Community Schools Administration building and returns to the amphitheater.
All participants who cross the finish line receive an award. The event is open to runners and walkers, including both beginning and competitive participants. Proceeds from the event are designated for Orion Area Youth Assistance and their programming for youth.
In-person race day registration and runner check in take place at the Wildwood Amphitheater, 2700 Joslyn Ct, Lake Orion 48360. Standard registration fee listed for the event is $18.00; the fee increases to $25.00 on race day. Registration opened January 13, 2026 and closed February 27, 2026.
