Dr. John Seaman Memorial 5K Run/Walk/Bike
The memorial event in Vicksburg, Michigan combines a walk, a 5K run, and a bike race to raise funds for missions in South America. It is sponsored by the Michigan District Nazarene Missions International and honors the life and work of a longtime missionary and district leader. Participants are encouraged to wear colorful socks in tribute to the honoree.

Registration is a flat fee of $35 for all participants. Registration opens on April 15, 2026 and closes on May 23, 2026. On race day registered participants collect a race packet, a race shirt (guaranteed for registrations before May 7), and a race bib at the ISAC building; shirts for same-day registration are distributed based on availability. Timing results will be posted at the end of the race.
Awards for the bike race recognize the top overall male and female. Awards for the 5K include top overall male and female, and the top two males and females in each age category for ages 12 and older. Participants aged 11 years and under receive an ice cream coupon for the snack bar.
