Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler Run/Walk 2026
The Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler Run/Walk takes place on July 18, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky, with event activity centered around Waterfront Park and Louisville Slugger Field. The event includes a four mile run or walk through Waterfront Park and an evening baseball game at Louisville Slugger Field.
Race entry includes a choice of a short sleeve cotton blend shirt, a short sleeve wicking tech shirt or a women's only wicking tank, a finisher medal, free finisher photos, a post race breakfast at the Humana Cabana inside Louisville Slugger Field, door prize drawings and a team competition. Registrants who raise a specified amount for certain charities can have their entry fee covered. A family of four registration option is offered with a registration discount and requires creating a team.
A virtual run option allows participants to complete the four mile distance from any location; virtual runners are not eligible for awards and virtual packet pickup and result submission follow a separate process and schedule. Awards include Louisville Slugger baseball bats for top overall finishers and souvenir bats for other top finishers, plus Ken Combs Running Store gift certificates for top placings and age group awards covering youth through 80 and over. Packet pickup is available the day before at Ken Combs Running Store and on race day at the event start area. The race is part of the River City Races Run the 502 series and connects with a Bats Grand Slam Double Header series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
