8th Annual Dozer's Run/Walk 5K

The 8th Annual Dozer's Run/Walk 5K is an annual fundraising run and walk organized by Summers Charity Fund to support canine cancer research. The event is scheduled for April 11, 2027 at Concord Pet Hockessin, 697 Yorklyn Rd, Hockessin, DE 19707, United States. The course distance is 5K and the format includes both running and walking.

Proceeds and donations are directed to the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and the Penn Vet Cancer Center. Since 2020 the Summers Charity Fund has raised over $100,000 to aid canine cancer research. The fund was created after the passing of Dozer, a dog that died of cancer in 2019.

Registration opens January 1, 2027 and closes April 10, 2027. The registration fee is $30. Pre registered participants receive a swag bag and a T shirt.
