Doylestown 5K Race and One Mile Fun Run
The Doylestown 5K Race is an annual Memorial Day Weekend event that draws over 700 runners and a large crowd of supporters. It is part of the Bucks 5K Series and has a USATF certified 5K course.
The 5K follows an out-and-back loop and finishes on State Street in historic downtown Doylestown. Runners are timed using mats that provide chip times. The One Mile Fun Run is an out-and-back course down Maple Avenue that finishes in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School parking lot.
Pre-registered participants who register before May 15 receive a race t-shirt. Awards are given to overall winners, age group winners, and age-graded master winners; Fun Run participants receive prizes. After the races, light refreshments are available and sponsors and local businesses are present.
Proceeds from the event benefit two local nonprofit organizations: Discover Doylestown and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School. The event maintains an archive of past race results and lists sponsors for each year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
