Brightstar Downtown 5K, Providence RI
The Brightstar Downtown 5K is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026 in Providence, Rhode Island. The event is based at Memorial Boulevard near 10 Memorial Boulevard and includes in-person and virtual options.

- 100 yards (youth ages 1 to 5)
The youth program holds separate boys and girls races for the two age groups. Chip timing will be used for race results and T-shirts are provided to all entrants. A virtual Downtown 5K Run/Walk option is listed alongside the in-person races.
Entry fees follow tiered pricing for both the 5K and youth races, with higher fees closer to race weekend and separate race day pricing. Online entries close on September 12, 2026. The event states that refunds are not available.
Packet pickup is available before race day and on race weekend at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI. Awards include top three overall places for women, men, and non-binary participants, plus multiple age-group winners. Overall awards are based on gun time and age-group awards on chip time. Team awards are offered for Family and Friends and Corporate teams, with team scoring based on the top three chip times.
