Chubb Trail Races

The Chubb Trail Races take place in West Tyson County Park in Eureka, Missouri. The event utilizes the popular Chubb Trail, offering a course that transitions through various terrains. Participants encounter a mix of gravel service roads, dirt trails alongside the Meramec River, a mile-long section of climbs, and rolling paths that wind through the surrounding hills.

The course does not include stream crossings. However, it does feature two railroad crossings where runners must exercise caution due to high-speed trains. In the event of flooding on the Meramec River, a designated high-water route is used. Wildlife such as deer and turkey are frequently seen throughout the area.

Participants can choose from the following distances:

  • 50 km
  • 25 km
  • 25 km Ruck
  • 8 Mile

The event is held in West Tyson County Park with parking available along Lewis Road. Finishers receive a medal along with post-race refreshments including grilled food and beer. Registration fees are non-refundable and are used for race day activities or donated to local trail maintenance organizations. While there is no waitlist, bib transfers and distance changes from the 50 km to the 25 km are permitted up to two weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
