Race information and logistics
The 25K RUCK requires participants to carry a minimum of 20 pounds (not including food and water) for the entire race. Ruckers and runners follow the same 25K course. All ruck packs will be weighed at the start.
Aid stations are placed throughout the course with standard ultra food and drinks. Stations are set up approximately at 3.5M, 8M, 12.5M, 16M, 19.5M, 24M and 28.5M. The race is cup free; participants must bring a water bottle or hydration pack to refill.
Packet pickup is available Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Des Peres Fleet Feet location from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and race day pickup begins at 7:00 am at the park entrance. There is a roughly nine hour cutoff for all races; for 50K runners the cutoff for the first loop is roughly four hours.
There are no refunds. Runners may drop from the 50K to the 25K up to one week before race day; drops after that or on race day forfeit award eligibility. Drop bags will be moved to the finish area and must be picked up before leaving. The event is organized by the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group.
