Double Chubb March 28, 2026
Double Chubb is a trail race event held at West Tyson County Park in Eureka, Missouri, presented by the Saint Louis Ultrarunners Group. The event offers multiple course options:
- 50K
- 25K
- 25K RUCK
- 8M
A new 25K RUCK follows the same 25K course and requires participants to carry a minimum of 20 pounds, not including food and water. Packs may be a backpack, weighted vest, or rucksack, and all packs are weighed at the start. All finishers receive a medal for completing their course.
Aid stations are positioned throughout the course, approximately at 3.5M, 8M, 12.5M, 16M, 19.5M, 24M and 28.5M. Stations provide typical ultra food items such as bananas, pretzels, potatoes, chips, water, and electrolytes. The event is cup free, so participants should bring a water bottle or hydration pack to refill.
Logistics include a packet pickup window the day before at a local retail location and race day pickup at the park entrance. Drop bags are collected near the park entry and moved to the finish area; unclaimed items will be donated. The event maintains roughly a nine hour cutoff for courses, with a first-loop cutoff around four hours for 50K runners. There are no refunds. Bib transfers are allowed until 4/10/2025, and participants may drop from the 50K to the 25K up to one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
