Door County Fall 50 Solo Division
The Door County Fall 50 Solo is a point to point 50.2 mile ultramarathon held on October 24, 2026, on the Door County peninsula in Wisconsin. The route runs from Gills Rock to Sturgeon Bay and travels along quiet tree-canopied roads and waterfront villages. Over 95% of the course is on asphalt and the terrain includes rolling hills and scenic views.
Solo participants are allotted 12 hours to complete the course, which requires maintaining roughly a 14 minute 20 second per mile pace to finish within the time limit. Specific course cutoffs apply at Exchange 5 (mile 29) and Exchange 8 (mile 43).
Aid stations feature a Solo Runners Only tent with water, sports drink, soda, fruit, bagels, cookies, gels and other snacks. Exchange 5 offers an expanded midway buffet with hot chicken noodle soup or broth and PB&J sandwiches. Drop bags are accessible at aid stations at miles 5.4, 11.6, 18.8, 23.9, 28.9, 32.7, 36.8, 43.0, 46.0 and at the finish.
An optional one way coach shuttle to the start is available for solo runners for a fee; shuttle pickup locations include Sunset Park and Stone Harbor Resort. Crew support is allowed only within aid station areas. Pacers are not allowed and may result in disqualification.
Finish amenities include a heated Solo Finisher tent with soup, changing rooms and seating, a separate party tent with food and beverages, and finisher awards including a medal and winter beanie. Awards are given to top five men and top five women in Open and Masters divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
