Donut Dash - Denver, CO
The Donut Dash is a 5K Run/Walk held each April at Washington Park in Denver. The 2026 edition serves as the RRCA Colorado 5K Championship and is an official BOLDERBoulder qualifier. The race uses the standard certified Washington Park 5K course.
Registration fees vary by date and include a race logo shirt, a finishers medal, fresh donuts at the finish, professional chip timing with a disposable bib tag, fully stocked aid stations, and free photo downloads. Runners 17 and under receive a $5 reduction in race entry fees.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at Runners Roost in Denver and on race morning at the event site. The race will be staged from the Mount Vernon Garden at Washington Park. Parking is available on surrounding streets and the largest lot is at South High School; participants are asked to respect neighborhood parking signs.
An aid station with water and Gatorade is located at mile 1.5. Bicycles, skateboards, and roller skates are not allowed in the race. There will be an awards ceremony near the finish with overall male and female awards and top three in each age group, with age groups ranging from 9 and under through 80 and over. A virtual entry option is available; virtual packets include a shirt, medal, and bib shipped at no charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
