Heatwave Half Marathon - St. Paul
The Heatwave event takes place on July 11, 2026, at Phalen Lakeside Activity Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. It offers a range of in-person race options and a virtual alternative with mailed packets.
Available race options include:
- Kids Dash - 50 m for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - untimed youth and family-friendly option
- 5K - chip-timed with live results
- 10K - chip-timed with live results
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip-timed
- Half Marathon Relay - 13.1 miles, each member registers individually
- Volunteer Then Run - volunteer shift then run any distance
- Virtual Race - run any day, packet mailed
- Running Buddy Half Marathon - requires prior approval
Many in-person distances include a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and relay events. The virtual option includes a digital bib, an event shirt, a finisher medal, and shipping; virtual participants can upload times and photos beginning on the event day. Youth pricing is available for certain races; ages 12 and under are listed at $17 for some distances. Free ice cream is offered at the finish.
