5k Fun Run x Surly Brewing Co
This is an untimed fun run hosted at Surly Brewing Co. in Minneapolis. Participants run, walk, or jog a mapped 5K-ish course that starts and finishes at the brewery taproom and uses public roads and a nearby trail.
The event is held outdoors and follows an open-course format. Participants are expected to obey traffic laws and be aware of surroundings while on the route. The event proceeds rain or shine. Registration is limited to the capacity of the taproom.
Registration includes one craft beverage from Surly Brewing Co., a collector's pint glass or a Brewery Running Series swag item, and access to on-site festivities such as live music, food trucks, and partner games. A valid ID is required to receive alcoholic beverages; participants under 21 are eligible for a token for a non-alcoholic drink.
A portion of event proceeds supports local nonprofits; the organizing series reports over $700,000 raised to date. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
