Run for the Roses 5K & Kids Fun Run : Roseville, MN
Run for the Roses is a community running event held at Roseville Central Park with venue points at the Roseville Skating Center and the Minnesota OVAL. The program includes a main 5K and two youth options routed through park pathways and the OVAL track. All participants receive a race shirt and a red rose; youth participants in the Kids Fun Run also receive a medal.

- 5K
- 1/2 mile for young children, two laps around the OVAL track
- 1 mile beginning on the OVAL and following the Howard Johnson Park pathway around the pond
Registration opens April 1 and remains available through race morning via Race Roster. Entry fees for the 5K vary by registration date. Kids Fun Run fees are listed separately for the 1/2 mile and 1 mile options. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on race morning at the Rose room in the Roseville Skating Center. Parking is available at the Roseville Skating Center; expect road closures near County Road C at the race area.
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in each age category: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+. In the event of severe weather the race may be delayed or cancelled for safety, with decisions announced the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
