Run for the Roses 5K & Kids Fun Run, Roseville MN
The Run for the Roses is a community race in Roseville, Minnesota that includes a main 5K and separate Kids Fun Run options for youth ages 2 to 14. The 5K course passes through Central Park. Youth may choose either a 1/2 mile route on the OVAL track or a 1 mile route that begins on the OVAL and follows the pathway around Howard Johnson Park pond. All participants receive a race shirt and a red rose; youth participants receive a medal.
Logistics include packet pickup on the Friday and Saturday before the race in the Rose room at the Roseville Skating Center. Parking is at the Roseville Skating Center. The race starting line is located on County Road C east of Hamline Avenue. Restrooms are available at the Skating Center and limited restrooms are located on the north side of Howard Johnson Park near the parking lot.
Registration opens April 1 and remains open through race morning via the listed registration platform. Entry fees for the 5K are $25 for general registration and $30 for last minute registration. Kids Fun Run fees are $8 for the 1/2 mile and $10 for the 1 mile. Exact t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.
