Golden Harvest Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Springfield
The Golden Harvest event takes place in Springfield, Missouri, with the start and finish located at Truman Elementary School. This local-themed running event provides multiple distance options for different types of participants. The available race lengths include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Includes course pacers and chip-timing.
- 10k (6.2 miles): A timed road race with chip-timing.
- 5k (3.1 miles): A timed road race with chip-timing.
- 1 Mile: This distance is an untimed event.
- Kid's Dash: A 50-meter untimed dash for children aged 10 and under.
Participants in the timed races receive live results and are eligible for awards. Registered runners receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option is available, allowing participants to run a chosen distance at any location and have their medal and shirt shipped to them.
The event features specialized pricing for youth aged 12 and under for the 5k and 10k distances. A "Volunteer then Run" option is also available, where individuals assist with event tasks before participating in their chosen race.
