Inspire the Roar 5K

The Inspire the Roar 5K is a run and walk presented by Missouri State University Campus Recreation as part of Family Weekend on September 20, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the Foster Recreation Center and follows a route through the Missouri State University campus.

Registration includes an early bird pricing period through August 31 with a $40 individual fee and a $30 fee for each runner in families of three or more. Packet pickup is available at the Foster Recreation Center on Friday, September 18 and on the race day, Sunday, September 20.

Participants receive a commemorative T shirt while supplies last. Awards are given to top finishers in multiple categories. The event allows strollers and well behaved dogs on leashes. Additional features listed for the finish area include music, snacks, and a recovery zone. The event materials also note a campus route and encourage MSU spirit gear.
