DoNot Stop Half Marathon - Greater Chicago
The DoNot Stop Half Marathon is a themed running event held at Waubonsie Lake Park in Aurora, Illinois. The event features multiple distance options to accommodate different participation levels, including chip-timed races and untimed activities for younger participants and families.
Available race distances include:
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.2 Miles (10K)
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
- 1 Mile (Untimed)
- 50m (Kid's Dash for ages 10 and under)
Registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on the Thursday two weeks prior to the event date. The Kid's Dash offers an option for children to participate for free if they do not require the event shirt or medal.
The event utilizes chip-timing for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances, providing live results and awards. Photographers provide free event photos, and all finishers receive a donut at the conclusion of their race. A virtual race option is also available for those unable to attend the physical location, allowing participants to complete their run independently and receive event items by mail.
Participants for the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K who are aged 12 and under are eligible for youth-based pricing.
