About the race
On April 3, 2027 the Winnetka Bunny Hop Dash 5k takes place on the Green Bay Trail at the Winnetka Train Station, 754 Elm St., Winnetka, IL 60093. The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles) and it uses a rolling start with multiple waves.
Registration for the 5K has a fee of $25. Registration opens on January 7, 2027 and closes on February 18, 2027. Packet pickup is required; friends may pick up packets for others and the organizers request advance notice for large groups. Packet pickup is scheduled at Road Runner Sports, Edens Plaza, 3232 Lake Avenue, Wilmette, IL on dates before the race, and race day registration is available for cash or check only.
There are no water stations on course; post race water and granola bars will be available at the finish line and the main building area. There are no awards, but children receive a #1 medal and bunny ears at the finish. Results are posted online at j3timing.com. Volunteers are needed for roles such as course marshal, water station, and packet pickup. Parking is available in public lots and on nearby streets. No refunds are offered. Carpe Diem Races and the municipality reserve the right to change the course.
