Donny's Dash
Donny's Dash is a fall running and walking event held Sunday, October 25, 2026 in the Farmington River Valley near Simsbury. The event includes a Halloween theme and welcomes participants wearing costumes.

- 5K classic run (Halloween themed)
- 1 mile fitness walk
- CT Sun Kids Fun Run and free kids and youth runs
The 5K uses a flat, lollipop style, USATF certified course that features views of Simsbury and the Farmington River. The fitness walk provides an alternative way for participants to join the day's activities.
The event includes a post event celebration with entertainment, giveaways, healthy snacks and a variety of fitness activities. It is presented with partners and sponsors and is described as a charity partner race benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford.
The day is organized to offer multiple participation options for a range of ages and interests, including separate youth runs and family-oriented activities.
