Run Riverside 5K and Fun Run
The Run Riverside 5K and Fun Run is held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. The event starts and finishes at the intersection of Post and Oak Streets, in front of Riverside Presbyterian Day School.
Distances
Participants can choose between two race options:
- 5K run
- 1-mile fun run
Course
The 5K route tours the Riverside community, covering areas from Five Points to King Street. It passes landmarks including Cheek Castle House, Memorial Park, the Cummer Museum, and Goodwin House. The 1-mile fun run includes multiple "Fun Zones" along its course.
Registration
Entry fees for the 5K range from $30 to $40 based on the registration period, while the fun run costs $25. No refunds are available. Registration can be completed online or in person at 1st Place Sports stores.
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup is available at 1st Place Sports stores on April 24th and on race day at the event site.
Awards
All finishers in both distances receive a medal. Additional awards are given to top 5K finishers, including the top three overall men and women, top masters (40+), and top three in various age groups.
Post-Race
After the races, a Finish Line Festival offers activities and treats from local businesses.
Other Details
The race uses chip timing with mats at the start and finish. Dogs are not permitted, and walkers with strollers are directed to line up at the end. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
