Event overview
The Donald Dash Trail Run is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at Donald County Park in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. It is the first race in the Savanna Series trail runs. Distances offered include:

There is a capacity of about 300 participants. One hundred percent of net proceeds are donated to the Friends of Donald Park, with funds earmarked for trail maintenance and repair. The 2026 program adds a Kids One Mile Fun Run. The event uses chip timing and provides event photos.
Course and logistics
The course includes prairie, single-track, sandy sections, slick bridges, and hills. Aid stations on course provide energy drink, water, and energy food. Awards include overall male and female, age-group awards, prizes, door prizes, and cash for setting a new course record. The main entrance is Pop’s Knoll on Highway 92; the park address is 1945 Highway 92, Mount Horeb, WI 53572. Parking at the Pop’s Knoll entrance is limited.
