Dogfish Dash : Milton, DE
The 19th Dogfish Dash takes place on September 27, 2026, at the Dogfish Head Milton Brewery, 6 Cannery Village Center, Milton, DE. The event offers a run and a walk with two participation options:
- 3.81 miles 6K (ish) Dash
- 1.83 miles 1.5 mile walk
Registration opens June 5 and closes September 26. Fee information is published for each event and includes participant items: a t-shirt, a reusable bag, and two beverage tickets for attendees aged 21 and over. There is no packet pick-up on race day; packets must be collected at pre-event packet pick-up dates held before the race. Bibs cannot be transferred and t-shirt exchanges are not provided.
Official timing will use the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards are presented for Overall Male and Female Champions, Overall Male and Female Masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age categories; there are no awards for the 1.5 mile walk.
The event includes a Recycled Costume Contest with recycled materials available at packet pick-up, and prizes for group and individual winners. All event proceeds will be donated to the Sussex County Land Trust. A post-run party with a draft beer trailer and partner activities will take place on site.
