Dog & Jog Thornblade
The Dog & Jog Thornblade is an athletic event held at the Thornblade Club in Greer, South Carolina. The event serves as a kick-off for the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament. Participants follow a route that tours the club grounds, including sections along the golf course where professional golfers, celebrities, and amateurs compete during the tournament weekend.
The event features a single distance:
- 4K Walk / Run
This 4K course is chip-timed, and participants have the option to either walk or run the distance. The event is designed to be stroller-friendly and dog-friendly, allowing participants to bring pets and children on the course. Proceeds from the race benefit Greenville County Animal Care.
Registered participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher's medal upon completion. Additionally, registration includes two complimentary daily tickets to the BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament.
