Event
The 5th Annual Lakeside Ten Mile 5K Fun Run takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in Ten Mile, Tennessee. The entry fee is $38.10 (includes a $3.10 fee). Registration opens on May 4, 2026. The event is open to ages 8 to 99. All net proceeds will be donated to the Meigs County volunteer fire department.
Course and logistics
The course is a 5K (3.1 miles) that runs from the Ten Mile town area up to Euchee Marina. The route is on pavement except for the last few feet of light gravel. Parking is available at Lakeside Baptist Church (2418 SR 304) or at Euchee Marina. First responders will lead and follow the runners for safety. Baby joggers are allowed and well behaved leashed dogs are permitted after other racers start.
Timing, awards and post-race
The event will be professionally timed by the Knoxville Track Club. Awards include first through third place medals for male and female competitors in eight age ranges, plus first through third overall medals and a special award for overall winners. T-shirts and swag bags will be available on site. Post-race refreshments include doughnuts, bananas and water. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
