Lakeside Ten Mile 5K event details
The 6th annual Lakeside Ten Mile 5K Fun Run is scheduled for 09/05/2026 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 2418 SR 304, Ten Mile, TN 37880. The course covers 3.1 miles from the Ten Mile town area up to Euchee Marina, mostly on pavement with the last few feet on light gravel. The event benefits the Meigs County Volunteer Fire Department and is professionally timed with chip timing by the Knoxville Track Club, allowing competitive runners to use their times for qualification purposes.
Registration opens 02/11/2026 and closes 09/05/2026; the registration fee is $35.00. Parking is available at Lakeside Baptist Church and Euchee Marina, and transportation from Euchee Marina back to Ten Mile will be provided. On-site amenities include T-shirts, swag bags (given to the first 100 registrants), doughnuts, bananas, Gatorade and water at the finish. Awards are presented after the last finisher, with first through third place medals for male and female competitors in eight age ranges and special awards for overall winners. The event is managed with first responders leading and following the field for safety. Baby joggers may start behind other runners. Well behaved, leashed dogs are allowed but race organizers reserve the right to accept or deny dogs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
