Dog Days of Summer 10k
The Dog Days of Summer 10k takes place at the WARF (Warrenton Aquatic & Recreation Facility) in Warrenton, Virginia. The course uses paved paths surrounding the facility and features rolling hills. The event includes a 10k run.
Race points earned count towards the 10k Series, the Back of the Pack Series, and the Summer Series.
Participants receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners who register before August 26.
There are seven water stations on the 10k course, with Gatorade available at some. The event proceeds in all weather conditions. Restrooms are located inside the WARF building.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, as well as to the first and second place in various age groups. Live results are posted online and via a QR code at the race. A virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend on race day. Strollers and walkers are welcome.
