Event overview
The DockHounds Dash & Easter Egg Hunt takes place on April 4, 2026, at WBC Park in Oconomowoc, WI. The event includes the following distances and activities:
- 5K Run
- 5K Ruck
- 2 Mile Walk
- Kiddos 1/4 Mile Run & Easter Egg Hunt (open to ages 1-12)
Every participant receives a finisher "woodle" made from recycled wood and crafted in Oconomowoc. Youth participants receive a youth-size T-shirt; registrants who sign up by March 20 are guaranteed a custom unisex cotton T-shirt.
Course and race logistics
The course starts and finishes at home plate in WBC Park. The route is described as very flat with a 3-foot elevation change, consisting of two laps around Pabst Farms Business Park and passing Wisconsin Harley-Davidson before crossing the field at WBC Park. Packet pickup is available on race day; participants must present the QR code from their email receipt for pickup. On-site parking is available at WBC Park. Dogs are not permitted in the stadium.
Awards, egg hunt, and other provisions
Top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups receive custom medals. The Average Joe & Jane Awards are given to the male and female who finish in the exact middle of all registered participants. The Kiddos egg hunt includes hidden Golden Tickets for children and, new for 2026, four Golden Tickets for adults. Volunteers receive a free entry to a future race.
