Event details
The Do Hard Things event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Coopers Landing in Columbia, Missouri (11505 S Smith Hatchery Rd, Columbia, MO 65203). The event includes in-person and virtual formats and donates a portion of proceeds to the Veterans Community Project. The Veterans Community Project provides housing and wrap-around support services for Veterans regardless of discharge status.

Logistics
In-person entry fees listed are $50 for the 9.11 Mile Run and 9.11 Mile Ruck, and $25 for the 5K Walk/Run; these prices increase after July 11, 2026. Virtual entry fees are $75 for 9.11 Mile Run and Ruck, and $45 for the 5K; virtual registration closes September 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT. Course maps for both the 5K and the 9.11-mile events are described as out-and-back.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet on Friday, September 11 (4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) at 10 W Nifong Blvd #113, Columbia, MO 65203. Race day packet pickup and registration open at 6:30 AM and close at 7:15 AM for the 9.11-mile events and 8:50 AM for the 5K. Results are available for prior years (2023–2025).
