Trail Running in Columbia
The Beer and Bagel Off-Road Race Series is held at Albert-Oakland Park in Columbia, Missouri. The event is organized by U2CANRUN, an organization that has managed this race series across the Midwest for 30 years. The race base is located at Shelter Houses 2 and 3, which serve as the start and finish line for the course.
The event features an off-road course through the park's trails. All participants who complete the run receive a finisher's medal. Additionally, award medals are presented to the top finishers overall and within specific age groups for both male and female categories.
A post-race gathering follows the run, featuring a selection of food and local beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Participants receive a themed t-shirt with a choice of two different slogans on the back. The event is part of a long-running series that has been active in the Midwestern States for over a decade.
