Three Creeks Torrent Trail Runs
Three Creeks Torrent Trail Runs is organized by the Columbia Track Club at Three Creeks Conservation Area near Columbia, Missouri. The event offers multiple distances on a course based on an approximate 10 mile loop that is used repeatedly for longer races.
The loop is about 80% single track and 20% jeep or gravel road. Each loop includes roughly ten creek crossings and about 950 feet of elevation gain. Two aid stations are on course, one at the Deer Park Road trailhead and one at the Tomlin Hill trailhead, both stocked with food and drinks. The event is cup free; all participants must carry a water bottle or hydration pack. Port a potties are located at the start area and at the Tomlin Hill aid station.
Time limits apply by distance: eight hours for the 50K, seven hours for the 20 mile, and six hours for the 10 mile and 10 mile ruck. Drop bags are permitted for 50K and 20 mile runners to access on later loops. The field is limited to 135 total participants. Registration deadlines affect guaranteed shirts and finisher items, and fees vary by distance. Parking near the trailhead is limited and available along Deer Park Road and in a nearby small lot.
Prizes include entry to next year s race or entry to the Rock Bridge Revenge for overall male and female winners in each race. Finisher socks and a race t shirt are provided under registration conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
