D&L RaceFest presented by St. Luke's
D&L RaceFest on November 15, 2026 brings four signature events along the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor to the Lehigh Valley. The marathon and marathon relay start in downtown Allentown; the half marathon events start in historic downtown Bethlehem. All events finish in downtown Easton at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, near 2750 Hugh Moore Park Road.
Distances
- 13.1 Miles Heritage Half Marathon run, walk, and run/walk categories
- 26.2 Miles St. Luke's D&L Marathon
- Marathon relay over the full marathon distance for five person teams
The point to point courses follow much of the D&L Trail along the Lehigh River with a net elevation drop. Trail surfaces include maintained fine gravel and macadam or paved trail sections. Time limits apply: half marathon 4.5 hours and marathon 6.5 hours. Walking entrants must commit to walking every step and may be monitored by course marshals.
Age and field limits are specified: half marathon minimum age 14 with under 18 requiring parent or guardian permission; marathon minimum age 18. Field caps noted for 2026 include 1,350 combined half marathon entries, 500 marathon racers, and 85 relay teams. Relay teams are five people, require participants over age 10, and relay captains must be 18 or older. Relay teams are responsible for their own transportation to exchange points.
Proceeds benefit Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Inc., supporting heritage and environmental programming and continued development of the 165 mile D&L Trail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
